Dear Readers,
I went to the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum in Lyme Regis, which is in
the southwest part of England, also known as the Jurassic Coast.
When my family got there, we explored the museum. My sister and I filled out a quiz as we went through the museum. One fact I learned at the museum was the Jurassic Period got its name from the Jura Mountains which are between France and Switzerland.
I was so happy because at the end of the quiz, it was graded and my sister and I got all the answers correct. The prize was a gem. I chose a shiny purple one.

Have you ever made a fire before? I had a chance to start one on a recent trip to Little Sea in Dorset, England. The first step to making a fire is finding a pit so the fire won't spread. Next you gather sticks and kindling for the fire. Then add straw to the top since it is flammable.
Then you can use a fire starter. I had a rod which contains many different kinds of metals, but the main one was magnesium. I struck that on a piece of steel which created a spark of fire and the straw started to burn.
After we made the fire, we toasted marshmellows. They were yummy.

Doesn't this roof look like pasta? Sure does. It looks like the pasta you get at a shopping mall. This type of roof is called a Thatched Roof, which are commonly found in England. One fact about the Thatched Roof is it does not absorb water, rather it flows down the stems.

Dear readers,
Today I went to a cafe in Lyme Regis which is in the south west part of England, 2 1/2 hours outside of London. In the cafe, my family grandparents, and I got scones. They taste good with strawberry jam and clotted cream. First you put on the strawberry jam and then you put on the clotted cream.
Scones also taste yummy when they are warmed up.
